April 21st is Press Preview Day – especially in the Zona Tortona area of town. This entire quarter undergoes a transformation in the few days prior to the “Salone del Moble” - Milan Furniture Fair, and it is always an exciting one!
Here are just a few of the many exhibits and products seen today. This is just the beginning, the very tip of the iceberg and officially the Milan Fair will start ONLY tomorrow. So be prepared, you need comfortable shoes, a map of the city and the events, as well as patience, because you just need to relax and learn to flow with the pace of things. You will it enjoy it a lot more that way!

One of favorite stops each year is at the MOOI showroom. This year it is at the Superstudio Piu’ space. Provocative, as always, its pieces always leave you with a smile.

Paola Navone is the curator for the huge “Taste Lounge” exhibit by Richard Ginori. A simulation of the Richard Ginori factory is created here, through photos and real products, including a 10 meter x 10 meter wall of specially designed plates.
